come with me, and you'l be, in a world of pure imagination
I found my spirit animal

So I've been denver a hot minute now. The WOW factors settled a good bit and like with all places, it becomes a city that you simply live in. Now it both its up sides, and its gentrafication sides. Between my own experience and from talking with others that have lived in the city for a good while(because good luck finding denver natives), its pretty clear that gentrification is a big thing in the area, more so in the last several years. Between the insane housing prices, food prices, and where the homeless are located... relocated, and the general opinion on al the things, it defnitly makes denver feel more... preppy which im not a huge fan of. On that same note though, there is a lot going for it. There's a ton of things going on in the city. layout and location, its still 10/10 for me. Plenty of outdoorsy people to interact with, lots of events going on from parks to bars... and sometimes from bars to parks. Weed's legal which is a breath of fresh air (obviously i'd never :P). All in all, its a city with a city feel thats as chill as someone thats high. This may end up being the place i stay at long term, but thats a thought for another time.

On the topic of doing things, I've jumped into the fire here and steped out of my comfort zone just a tad. Lemme tell ya kdis, taking a russian class is weird. especailly when your russian is much better than your average joe and jane that take these classes. It gets weirder when the teacher of this course has similar manerisms and and earily similar looks as one of your ex's. Moral of the story? I grammer хороший.

Kinda on the topic of russian stuff, I ended up at a ukrainan music show. The real irony there was that it was hosted in an art gallery... an art gallery that had a solid amount of nudity. Now, there were many families at this event and russian/ ukrainian families are very simalaire to Christian conservatives in their views. The main difference is that the Russian families will blame the child for seeing it, where as the christain conservativers will blame the art gallery for showing it.

Aside from that, lots of things went on this month though, from the sketchy piano lessons, random bar concerts, my bathroom exploding in the middle of the night spewing water all over the place. It's been great.  It all comes to a close pretty soon as i get ready to leave. but before that i've got some friends flying in which should be fun and im excited for. And unless something crazy happens, the next post will be when im at the next state. Here we come KAAAnsas city,KAAAnsas.
