I'm not sure what I expected when I went to live with an old white lady in the suburbs (actually im not sure I planned that part, it was the cheapest option). The house is super suburban and american (shower curtain as exibit A) and... small, everything is about a foot lower than where it should be and I've hit my head on a few things already.
Maria is nice though, apparently she did a bit of traveling herself as a child, all I can say is that its nice to know that she is considering covid as an issue. On the bright side we have a gameplan for that (I live in my car or in the woods for 2 weeks... its hot enough here that that isnt an absurd idea).

Aside from that, Austin is prettty straightforward... its a city with city things and city partying. The only difference is that the air in austin smells like bbq and the air in harrisburg smells like sewer, that and the beer here is better (could be thats just cause its different). The only other thing of note is that I heard texas would be flat and there is only one hill, that person failed to mention that the entire city of downtown austin is all hills. The saving grace there were the eletric scooters that I used to give multiple people heart attacks because im still not sure about proper etuquite. Do I fly through the streeets with car traffic, or do I fly through the streets filled with human and child traffic, the trolly problem of our generation. (Side note to my skater freinds, electric scooters are not like skateboards and you cant slam your foot down to stop, stuff like that breaks ankles faster than the russian mafia).

As im getting acclimated to living here, finding what to do, attempting to learn new hobbies, and slowly falling into a deep nihilistic world view where nothing matters and why am I doing this and does anything even matter and or should i go back and bail early... Im not planning on doing any more of these until I hit hit the road again or at least a week after. So if you dont hear from me dont check your bingio card till I'm in Denver, CO(FYI: I should get there on the 20th of march).

A question I'll be leaving you whoever you are is about that bingo i've heard so much about. You get A point for "Dan gets stabbed or mugged" on the bingo card and because of that I cant do these blogs anymore, does that count as me ending these early, do you then get 2 checks? Do these bingo effects then cascade or do you only get that one?
